Born and raised in Wahiawa in the central region of Oahu, Dale grew up in the 'country' and on the beaches of the North Shore. A graduate of Punahou School, she then continued her education at the University of California, Berkeley, finishing her BA degree in Biological Sciences at Indiana University, Bloomington. She also obtained her Masters of Arts for Teachers degree there.
Returning to Oahu, she and her husband, Bill, settled in Honolulu with their two children. Dale taught secondary science for four years before focusing on her real estate career. The owner of her own real estate company for more than 25 years, Dale is now an owner and broker-in-charge with Properties of the Pacific, LLC.
Active in the real estate community, Dale has served on the local level with the Honolulu Board of REALTORS® as a committee member/chair, Director at Large as well as Vice Chair of the Board. She later served two years as President of the HiCentral MLS Board, a subsidiary of the Honolulu Board of REALTORS®. At the state level, she has been a Director of the Hawaii Association of REALTORS® as well as its First Vice-President, President-elect, President, and is the immediate Past President. On the National level, she was a Director of the Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers, and is has been a Director of the National Association of REALTORS®, and continues to serve on several committees.
Dale was just honored as the Realtor® of the Year 2017 by the Hawaii Association of Realtors. She has also received the Realtor® of the Year by the Honolulu Board of Realtors; the Pinnacle Award from the Hawaii CRB Chapter; and two Aloha 'Aina awards.
Active in the community, she has worked with groups such as the Kalanianaole Athletic Club, the Leahi Soccer Club, YWCA and the Girl Scout Council. She continues with her interest in promoting young girls and women through athletics by serving on the Rainbow Wahine Hui, a support organization for the University of Hawaii Wahine Athletics. Dale enjoys the outdoors – hiking, ocean swimming, infrequent golf swings – as well as yoga, reading, hula and sporting events. Ask her about her composting worms!
